We have been providing high quality early learning and care programming to children and families for over 35 years.
Our philosophy is founded on the belief that relationships are imperative in our work with children and families. We work closely with
the parents to gain a better understanding of the child and the whole family, in terms of their values and beliefs. This holistic approach to working with the whole family ensures that our programs/services are supportive and reflective of the child’s and families’ overall needs.
We recognize the importance of early years in forming a strong foundation for child’s readiness for life. The focus of our program is on social and emotional development of the child. The children are guided to gain social and emotional competence through their daily group experiences at the Centre. This includes learning how to positively navigate through social situations,
building their self-esteem as well as respecting others. In a safe and nurturing environment the children have an opportunity to explore and experience new learning opportunities through meaningful and purposeful play.
The trained staff in early childhood development create an environment for the children and families where learning and playing happens spontaneously and simultaneously, where diversities are celebrated, where empathy is fostered, where programming reflects children’s interests and where days are filled with rich life related experiences enjoyed by children, staff and parents.
A beautiful playground as well as the gym allows the children to have daily exposure to outdoor physical activities or the gym, in the decline of the weather. Daily hot lunches and two snacks further contribute to the child’s healthy well being.
