Teen Parents Acheiving Lifelong Knowledge and Success

The TALKS Program is an Early Intervention project funded by Edmonton and Area Child and Family Services Region 6. This is a voluntary program that meets the unique needs of young pregnant and parenting people looking to suceed in life, school and parenting.

 TALKS MISSION

To empower pregnant teens.

TALKS offers practical support with things like:

  • Pregnancy 
  • Finances
  • Transportation 
  • Education 
  • Parenting
  • Childcare
  • Housing 

It also offers the Health for Two Program, which includes:

  • Information on pregnancy for pre-natal and two months post-natal women
  • Milk Coupons
  • Vitamins
  • Weekly group get-togethers for parents and their children, with dinner and child care provided.
