SUMMARY:Infant Massage @ LaPerle
DESCRIPTION:We invite you and your infant to join us at our LaPerle location to learn about infant massage. Infant massage is incredibly beneficial to both baby and carer as it encourages bonding, body-awareness, promotes relaxation and sleep, and so much more.\nParticipants will have the opportunity to slow down and connect with their infant in a calm setting and try their hand at massage. There will also be the chance for discussion and connection with other carers who are also parenting an infant.\nBest suited for: parents/caregivers & Infants from 1 – 12 months\nNOTE:\n\nInfant Massage program runs for 3 sessions.  \nRegistration open for June 12, 19, 26, 2026\nIf you are unable to attend one of the sessions, no problem! Let us know, and we will make sure you receive the information from the missing session.\nA small bottle of organic apricot oil will be provided to use during the session. Please bring it with you for each session unless you would like to use a different oil.\n\nPlease note that infant massage is not recommended if your baby is dealing with any of the following:\n\nHas High Fever/Temperature\nHas an acute infection, staph infection, illness or disease\nHas a skin disorder which may be contagious or cause inflammation\nHas open sores or lesions\nHas had recent immunization/vaccination (wait 48 – 72 hours)\nHas any life-threatening medical condition\nHas an unhealed umbilical cord (tummy massage contraindicated)\nHas swollen lymph nodes\nHas blood clots or a blood condition\nHas diarrhea or other sickness\n\n*If you wish to attend and your infant is unable to participate – you can practice on a doll for the duration of the session!\n
