Our Kindergarten Program

The Kindergarten Program at Jasper Place Family Resource Centre is approved and funded by Alberta Education as a Private Early Childhood Services (ECS) Operator. The program is taught by a qualified teacher with a Bachelor of Education degree. Your child will spend the entire day with the same educators, ensuring consistency and quality care.

Program Details:

• Kindergarten Hours: 8:45 AM – 11:45 AM, Monday to Friday (except statutory and school holidays)
• Child Care Hours: 7:15 AM – 5:30 PM

Eligibility:
Children who turn five years old by December 31 of the current school year

Educational Approach
Our program focuses on early literacy and numeracy through a project planning approach. Children engage in planned learning experiences inspired by their interests, promoting knowledge and skill development. For example, building with blocks helps children understand shapes, sizes, relationships, and problem-solving.
