Our role as Family Resource Network hub
Jasper Place Family Resource Centre, the designated Family Resource Network Hub for West Edmonton. Provincial Family Resource Networks (FRNs) deliver high quality prevention and early intervention services and supports for children aged 0 to 18 and their families.
What does this mean for connecting families to services?
Such as;
- Home Visitation/Family Mentorship
- Health for Two
- Parenting Programs
- Youth Mentoring Supports
- Counselling
- Early Childhood Development Programs
- Basic Needs Supports
No need to figure out where to make the referral. Just contact our Hub Services Coordinator
This range of services and supports focuses on strengthening parenting and care-giving knowledge, social support, coping and problem-solving skills, access to community supports and resources, improving child and youth development, building resiliency and fostering well-being.
Through a ‘hub and spoke’ model of service delivery, Networks (hubs) coordinate the delivery of all FRN services, supports and services in geographic areas across the province – both directly and through collaborative partnerships with qualified service agencies or providers (spokes).
The Hub coordinates the delivery of all FRN services, supports and programming either directly or through formal collaborative partnerships promoting optimal matching of family needs and services.
The West Edmonton Hub Service Coordinator ensures:
- Parents and caregivers are connected to programs and services that support children and families to thrive.
- Service providers are connected with one another creating a web of supports.
