Rattle Making at Baby and You!

Join us for a hands-on cultural experience in partnership with Red Road Healing Society Pte Oyate, where participants will learn the traditional art of rattle-making. Rattles hold deep spiritual and ceremonial significance across many Nations, used in storytelling, song, and healing practices. This event is guided by Indigenous knowledge keepers and offers opportunity to connect, create, and celebrate culture.

The Rattle Making experience will be held and completed over 3 sessions. Participants can sign up once and attend all sessions.

We will be meeting at Orange Hub in Jasper Place Family Resource Centre’s Room 413.

NOTE:
• Snacks & refreshments provided
• Free street parking and paid lots available
• Best suited for: pregnant and newly parenting caregivers of non-mobile infants (0–10 months)

Participant Guidelines:
As this is a focused, hands-on session and limited childcare support is available for non-mobile infants, we kindly ask that mobile infants, toddlers, and older siblings do not attend.

If needed, participants are welcome to bring an additional adult to support childcare during the session.
