Health and Safety Procedures

Dear Families,

The health and safety of our families and staff remain our highest priority. As our Province continues to navigate the COVID-19 Pandemic, our aim is to ensure that our in-person programs are as safe as possible for all attending. Below are procedures we have in place to support this aim.

  • Ensure that you and your child(ren) are well and free of all COVID-19 related symptoms. Covid Alberta Health Daily Checklist
  • It is important to sanitize hands before entering the space, after using the washroom, wiping noses, changing a diaper, before and after eating, drinking, or entering/leaving the space. We have hand sanitizer and places to wash with soap and water available.
  • Voluntary masking is in effect.
  • Child-to-child interaction – Our early learning programs aim is to balance; the children’s natural disposition to play with one another and the importance of social and emotional development while maintaining health and safety practices and individual family comfort.
  • Our program facilitators ensure all spaces, materials and equipment are cleaned and sanitized between programs.
  • There is no requirement for vaccination to access any of our programs or services.
    • Consider vaccination -The most important thing that adults and older children can do to protect themselves and others is to be fully immunized. Vaccines are safe and effective and build a protective shield around our youngest citizens for whom the vaccine is not yet available.COVID-19 vaccine program | Alberta.ca
    • We continue to offer some virtual options for group programs. You can find Zoom registration links with program details to register for our virtual programs after logging into your account here as well as watch pre-recorded programs on our blog.
  • Thank you for helping us all stay safe and healthy
